Comic books:
1. A new learning approach
2. Take something boring and change it into something fun
3. Authentic language learning opportunities for all students

There has always been a stigma that reading comics meant you were not good at studying or had no interest in it. But what if I were to tell you that that classroom is the right place for comic books?

TEDx is a platform similar to TED in presentation and can be organized by anyone who obtains a free license from TED. They prepare amazing events and guest speaks to come out and share their experiences and advice to different communities.

In 2014 at the TEDxManchester Conference, Comic writer and artist, Karrie Fransman shows why comic books should be taken more seriously and how they are not only for entertainment but can express content in an easier way for others to understand!
